I was born in Edinburgh in 1952 and trained at Edinburgh College of Art from 1971 – 1976. I lived in Shetland from1979 – 2014, teaching art and design in a Junior High School, apart from a year in the 1980s when I taught and painted in Alabama, USA. I’ve exhibited widely in the UK and abroad, and currently have work in the Morningside Gallery, Edinburgh, Stirling Art, Stirling, Resipole Studios, Argyll and Contemporary Fine Art, Eton.
