Maureen Rocks-Moore studied Interior and Graphic Design at the Glasgow College of Building and Printing. After graduating with distinction in 1989, she worked in Architectural practice. "During this time my love of painting was always constant and I decided that I would pursue this....."

Maureen is based at The WASPS Artists Studios in The Briggait, Glasgow where she divides her time as a painter and working as an Arts Specialist in Education. Her work has been exhibited at The Scottish Parliament in Holyrood and her commissions have been varied, selling to private collectors both here and internationally. Her work has been exhibited extensively over the last ten years both in the UK (Group and Solo shows) and several pieces are owned by Strathclyde University and The House of Friendship in St. Petersburg, Russia.
