We carry a large selection of figurative drawings and paintings. There is a particularly strong figurative tradition in Scotland. For the purposes of categorisation we use the term to refer to works depicting the figure.

Many people use the term "abstract" to refer to works which are in fact landscape based and where the work is particularly expressive and depicts images in a loose and less literal fashion. So our categorisation here is a general guide only.
