Patricia Templeton Sharp “ Waterfall Campsie Glen”

Patricia Templeton Sharp, DA, is a graduate of Glasgow School of Art.

She is a member of the Glasgow Society of Women Artists and an elected member of the Paisley Art Institute where pieces of her work has been exhibited and sold.

Patricia regularly exhibits in galleries in and around Glasgow. It is the Isle of Tiree, however, where her she focuses many of her pieces capturing the life of the island when painting during her summer visits.
In particular, Patricia loves to focus on the colour creating vibrancy in her work allowing the viewer to almost imagine there are within the setting.
This sense is further evident as many of her pieces are from her travels from Tiree to Portugal.

Patricia captures her landscapes using oils within textured pieces creating dense gardens or watercolours to allowing a more free and open feeling.
Working from her studio in Glasgow city centre she has taught privately while having successful one-woman exhibitions.

Her work is mainly in gouache.

Patricia’s work is a family affair as her son Graeme is also a graduate of the Glasgow Art School and also working with scotlandart.com.
