Curriculum Vitae Curriculum Vitae James E. Pay, AUA, is a Canadian-born artist, who resided in Dunfermline, Scotland from 4 years from February 2000 to April 2004. He was trained in Canada and USA and was tutored by many of Canada’s finest artists, including the last living member of the famous Group of Seven, artist A. J. Casson. Painting florals and the Canadian landscape until 1996, the artist moved to the Caribbean where he painted tropical scenes. While living in Scotland, James painted the beautiful Scottish landscape and also his florals in a colourful fashion and had several successful shows.
Mr. Pay is an elected associated of the United Society of Artists, London, England, served as vice-chairman on Central Arts Scotland, and is a member of the Society of European Artists and a member of the Society of All Artists
Having returned to Canada in April 2004, Mr. Pay is continuing to provide his watercolour workshops, which were very successful during his time in Scotland.
