Artist Profile - Adrian McMurchie

Born in Glasgow, Adrian graduated in Graphic Design (inc illustration & photography) in 1990, working as a graphic artist before launching into the precarious world of commercial art as a freelance illustrator/artist. His illustrations have appeared in most UK national newspapers, magazines such as BA's in-flight High Life and works for children's book publishers including a children's literary guide to Edinburgh, introduced by J.K. Rowling. His panoramic cityscapes are installed in public buildings across Scotland such as Glasgow airport and Glasgow Housing Association. He has illustrated the restaurant review for the Sunday Herald since 2000.

About scotlandart.com galleries - what we do

Our galleries are based in Edinburgh and Glasgow City Centre and we have a worldwide customer base. Call us or e-mail if you have any enquiry as we are here to help. All artwork is original and in stock in either our Edinburgh or Glasgow gallery. You can use our wish list to request viewing in either gallery ( we move paintings to wherever suits the customer to view). Or feel free to phone us and arrange things. We will be delighted to help with advice on hanging & framing and you may take paintings home on approval before making a decision.
