Clark, Christine Curriculum Vitae

Artist and Illustrator Christine Clark Graduated from Edinburgh School of Art in 2006 with a Ba(hons) in Fine Art and now works freelance from her studio in Edinburgh.

Clarks paintings combine a diverse range of materials to produce tactile, colourful pieces using oil paint, pastels, inks, graphite, collage and varnish glazes. Her inspiration comes from questioning the lighter and darker sides to life. She observes different human characteristics, eccentricities, obsessions, desires and combines them with her own personal experiences, memories, thoughts, and imagination. Paintings take on a magical yet melancholy feel as figures begin to evolve from the paint.

Works have been exhibited successfully in numerous Scottish Galleries including the The Royal Scottish Academy. Clarks works have also travelled to Washington D.C and several London Art fairs where pieces have been collected by international buyers.
