Lorna Smith

Born in Aberdeen, Scotland 1977

Graduated from Gray�s School of Art, Aberdeen in 2000 with a BA Craft and Design. Graduated from University of Aberdeen in 2002 with MA (Hons) History of Art.

I have completed many private commissions using different mediums such as pencil, pen and ink, watercolour and acrylic. I also regularly attend acrylic painting and life drawing evening classes.

My other passion is photography which I use for my paintings to capture strong compositions of town/cityscapes and landscapes which interest me with colours, shapes and composition. I enjoy bringing out the colour in objects that at first look very dull.
