McGibbon, Kerrie Curriculum Vitae
Kerrie McGibbon
I am inspired predominately by the pentland hills and surrounding landscape. I work mainly with oils and try to capture the ever-changing facets of the weather and its effect on the landscape. Using broad-brush strokes I try to capture the transcendence of rain clouds wisping over scoured fields, sea mists meeting shoreline and fleeting moments of sunshine dancing off dew on Munroes. My work is a meeting of sky and earth and I try on a daily basis to do justice to its rawness and beauty.
