Born in Glasgow in 1952 Martin paints mostly in watercolour. Painting the varied land and seascapes of Scotland and the Mediterranean. His work is shown in galleries throughout Scotland and in collections overseas.
He has a studio in Glasgow, overlooking Kelvingrove Park and he is presently engaged in the process of establishing a second studio in Southern Spain where the light is in harmony with his work.
