In his drawings, Seth Orion Schwaiger brings focus to the signs of use or abuse of both banal and unique objects and is interested in how these flaws shape the character of the subjects depicted. Each mark serves as evidence of a past and alludes to the person who created it, used it, or discarded it. A great level of intricacy coupled with an intimate quietness takes these neglected objects and elevates them to a place where new attention is given to their forgotten plights.
