Lesley Anne’s early work was influenced by the petro-chemical plant at night in her home town of Grangemouth. Its strange eerie glow fascinated her. This love of night time lights led to her to working in cityscapes which are what she concentrates on today. Travelling is an integral part of her work as she feels that in order to truly reflect the atmosphere of a place in her paintings she must experience the sights at first hand Lesley Anne's work has been featured in the media in Artists and Illustrators, Art England, The Scotsman, Fine Art Collector and more recently the Scotland Magazine where she was named one of Scotland’s top 10 painters.
